Our mission is to empower Michigan residents with the tools necessary to transcend political affiliations, put people first, and restore confidence in our electoral system. As citizens, we are responsible for defending our democracy by standing up, speaking out and upholding America's founding principles.

Disinformation is a significant threat to our democracy. It manipulates public opinion and can sway election outcomes. That's why MCR advocates for active civic engagement, fact-checking information, and nurturing respectful disagreement and civil discourse. Together, we can counter disinformation, safeguard our elections and fortify our democracy.

Guided by the experienced leadership of Tonya Schuitmaker, former Michigan Senate President Pro Tempore, and Christine Greig, former Michigan House Democrat leader, Michiganders for Civic Resilience is building a network of like-minded individuals and partner organizations to mobilize and address these issues head-on.

MCR will provide many opportunities to get involved and make a positive difference, including participating in polarization, media literacy and election integrity training, hosting events, mobilizing your networks, and identifying speaking engagements to mobilize others to take action.
